It is the process of drawing Luffy in One Piece. I shared my BIG MISTAKES!!! Sorry Luffy!!! But the experience of failure is a good learning, so it's good information for those who start drawing!(^^)/

One Piece Wano[Drawing Luffy & Improvements]

I drafted while looking Luffy, the main character of One Piece. I don't copy exactly what I see. That is my commitment. I mean, it's actually difficult for others to copy someone's work well. Anyway, I made a fun draft! If you keep drawing for a few days, you will want a better pencil that is easy to draw. I realized it after a long time.

I still haven't found the G pen and mapping pen I bought before. So again, I drew a line with my favorite Sakura Pigma pen. This time, I used 05 for most parts and 005 for face parts. This time I wanted to finish it without taking much time, so it was a bit rough compared to the previous monotone picture….Sorry, Luffy~. But when I draw you, bright energy comes out.♪

Alright, I'm painting with colored brushes!

This is the part of the blunderーー!!

The black line protruded. So I used a whiteout (correction item, the green one in the photo). At first I was afraid to use it, but I was interested in what would happen, so I decided to try it once.

The black line disappeared neatly.

*But! after that, when I erased the draft with an eraser, the part became dirty as shown in the left photo.

After that, neither colored pencils nor colored brushes work. Below the finger in the right photo, it remains whitish when painted red and black.

You can definitely fix it with an acrylic color, but I don't want to use it now.

I decided to leave this work as a lesson for the future! Switch my moods, I used Signo white gel pen to put a flower pattern on Luffy's kimono and petals on the back.

Then, with a colored pencil, the color was added to the areas where the color was uneven and where the color was lacking!

It's done, Luffy♪

One Piece Wano[Drawing Luffy & Improvements]

Improvements

1. The face is not like Luffy. But okay.

2. Luffy's left hand doesn't look like Luffy. But okay.

3. I should take better correction items. It was a good test this time.

4. Everything will be better if you get used to it!
Let's draw a lot!

5. Rather than think of a correction, always draw it carefully!

Even professionals draw lines very carefully. Because they know that it's very difficult when they fail to draw line with ink or pens. (^^)

Hi, I'm jhanabukiten who is Japanese, born and raised in Japan, and have lived in California, U.S.A. for 20 years now. My blog, it delves into the latest and nostalgic information on comics and anime Case Closed. Also, Tezuka manga, One Piece, etc. And about Japanese culture and Japanese products that are popular overseas. Also, about my favorite 'self-healing' for those who want to be happier than they are now. When I lived in Japan, I wasn't sure how interesting Japan was. But when I look at Japan from the outside, I can calmly tell you the wonderful parts. (I want me in the past to read this blog as well.^^) I hope you enjoy visiting this blog!
